In 1999 Dr. Delmont established her private practice in the Freeport-Roosevelt area, known as a federally-designated healthcare professional shortage area. In 2005, Dr. Delmont became the Operator and Medical Director of a failing Diagnostic and Treatment Facility (Primary Healthcare Plus) in Franklin Square, transforming the Organization into a thriving treatment facility, delivering efficient and high quality care to thousands of low-income, uninsured and underinsured patients.

The culture of medicine in the past has led patients to distrust the system. Coordination of care has not been successful, medical tests are repeated unnecessarily and patients have not been asked to be active members in their care, but rather passive bystanders being told what is best for them. Patients and families of our clinics feel confident that not only will they have a positive experience while in our offices, but that their treatment will be evidence-based, thorough and will be spread across the continuum of their healthcare.
